Right now the setting is 100000000. It was originally set to 10000000.
It is set to gauge.

The Data Source Path and file are correct and the file is being
updated
correctly. But my graph keeps showing NaN.
What is the maximum set for the DS inside the RRA ?

Hi,

Does your data source name (in the rra file header) exactly the same as
the output name?

If you do a fetch on rrd file from the command line you can see the
exact ds names definied in rra file.
Traffic type rra has traffic_in and traffic_out DS as you see below.

rrdtool fetch rrafile.rrd AVERAGE -s -30m

timestamp traffic_in traffic_out
1142003700: nan nan
1142004000: nan nan
1142004300: nan nan

So check the rrdtool fetch output headers with your cacti log output ds
name (alcatel_rcvd).

Just a tip...

When I upgraded via FreeBSD PORTS someething broke the weatherbug script. I
run the script from the command line and I get the expected output. But when
looking at it from cacti I get blacnk graphs with NaN for information.

Has anyone else seen this.

TIA

You may try to "Clear Poller Cache" which in fact rebuilds the poller
cache. On a large installation I'd recommend the
"rebuild_poller_cache.php" that mus tbe run from command line. If nogo,
please switch Settings -> Logging Level to DEBUG and have a look at
log/cacti.log. Search for the script.

If in doubt, use the forums. There's more traffic ... and more help ...

Thanks all! That was the root of the problem - the incorrect rra's were
being referenced. Thanks for the pointers!
